Gloria is the trashy & glamorous reincarnation of the former St Andrews church in Blaketown on the West Coast of Te Waipounamu.   Built in 1938, consecrated in 1942, deconsecrated in 2018, reconsecrated as Gloria in 2021.  Gloria is a public artwork.  A pink jewel in the rugged landscape.  An homage to Camp.  Gloria is a Temple of Nondenominational Queer Celebration.  Gloria is a work in progress.  The vision is to create a new congregation of giant papier mache parishioners, all bejewelled & glittery in their campy finery.  Gloria enjoys hosting poetry readings & dance parties & crafting bees.  You can support Gloria by joining her Patreon or following her instagram
